Hi this is Sara. ;D Ashley's friend. Germany. I'm making her an America doll too, for her birthday, (she's gonna have a ton of these fuckers) and it would be awesome to know how you did the hair, cause I am majorly confused about that antenna. And doll hair in general, actually.
Oh, sure, no problem But I'll warn you now, this might make absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL.
The hair was like DETH GAHHHH. I was gonna do more to it, but, uh, I can't really explain the back. (Since that was actually part of the pattern I used.) It was sewn in. If I wanted to make it longer, I would have.. freaked out because I have no idea as for how to do that quite yet.
I cut the bangs with a little extra allowance so that I could fold it over. I sewed it so the tips were facing the back of his head, then pulled them forward and glued them down at the front, except for the antenna, which I just left alone. it flips up by itself because of the direction it was sewn on Then I repeated that with teh other bangs.
Sorry that this is late (I was in Florida) and that it is probably just gibberish because I'm bad at explaining things. If you need it, I can draw a little tutorial. I hope I'm at least a little helpful ><;;
Okaaaay! I'm glad I could help! xP I was actually planning on making Germany and Italy, but I dunno. Hope you guys have fun with America! And birthdays!

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
